{"id":2076,"date":"2026-07-30T21:13:16","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T21:13:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usfocus360.xyz\/?p=2076"},"modified":"2026-07-30T21:13:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T21:13:17","slug":"doctor-who-actor-tom-chadbon-dies-aged-80","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/usfocus360.xyz\/?p=2076","title":{"rendered":"Doctor Who actor Tom Chadbon dies aged 80"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fpm_start\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Doctor Who actor Tom Chadbon dies aged 80<br>Veteran actor Tom Chadbon, best known for appearances in British television, including Doctor Who and Game of Thrones, has died aged 80.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Luton-born actor enjoyed a television career spanning almost 50 years, and also made a small appearance in Daniel Craig&#8217;s first James Bond film, Casino Royale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fantom Events, a publishing and events company with which he had worked, confirmed in a social media post that the actor died on Saturday after a short illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chadbon appeared opposite Tom Baker in the 1979 Doctor Who story City of Death, which drew more than 16 million viewers and remains the most-watched episode in the show&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ichef.bbci.co.uk\/news\/480\/cpsprodpb\/9673\/live\/c3d67a90-8b4a-11f1-8139-b39d1c7486b2.jpg.webp\" alt=\"Getty Images Tom Chadbon sits in the middle dressed in a dinner jacket.
